Well, I did have an umbrella with me on the night of the performance -- it was raining that evening, too. Many other visitors also had umbrellas: you have to be outside the theatre in advance, before they let you in -- about 40 min or so before the show. But you might call the theatre directly at 888-985-9421 and inquire. Enjoy the show!

Hi Shelley- There are several places on that block that are good. If you just want a sandwich go across the street. I forget the name. It is like an Irish pub and they make a great ruben sandwich and have Guiness on tap. There is also Victor's 52nd which has Cuban food. I love the Ropa Vieja ( old clothes in English)
