Barboursville is a village in Cabell County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 4,456 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Huntington–Ashland metropolitan area. Barboursville was platted in 1813. Barboursville was then chartered in 1813 and incorporated in 1867.
