I would suggest a minimum of one hour. However, there is a video of the blowing up of Ripple Rock in 1958 which was the largest man made non nuclear explosion and well worth watching. It is about 20 minutes. Allowing two hours would likely be best.

Hello. If you are coming from the south of Vancouver Island, a nice scenic route is to drive up 19A the coast highway. Once you are in Campbell River you will drive to 5th Avenue and turn left. The building is actually facing Highway 19A, and our parking lot is off 5th Avenue. Hours are 10-5 seven days/week until October 1. Then we are 12-5 Tuesday - Sunday, closed Mondays. If you need further instructions, please call 250-287-3103.
