We didn't do the boat ride but I can assure you that safety is their primary concern. I couldn't believe the attentiveness and care they gave to ALL of their passengers. I would trust them unequivocally. Also, it's the ONLY way to see this part of the Grand Canyon. I'd highly recommend it as it was an amazing experience just from the air.

The drive to the helipad is about 45 minutes. And you wait there for another 45 minutes before you board the chopper. So for a 7 am flight, you might be picked up at 5:30 am! The sights at 7 am might be great but then you have to wake up at 4:30 to get ready!
