Hi fellow Texan! Although we booked two months before, when we were there at the end of June, a few people were booking on the same day they wanted to raft. However, since you want the full day, to be on the safe side and depending on how many are in your party, I'd book a few days ahead. Also, just FYI, we paid $236.00 (including tax) for the trip.
