Unionville is a rural town in Union County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 6,643 at the 2020 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 26.2 square miles, of which 26.2 square miles is land and 0.04 square miles is water. It is situated in the foothills of the Uwharrie Mountains.
