Dr Nathan Bain is a consultant medical oncologist at Icon Cancer Centre Townsville. He is passionate about delivering world-class cancer care to regional communities and believe that such care begins with compassion and clear communication. Dr Bain is dedicated to empowering my patients to make evidence-based decisions to achieve the best possible outcomes. He has an active interest in research and clinical trials, with a particular focus on the development and trialling of new drugs therapies in lung and gastrointestinal cancers. His clinical experience covers a broad range of solid tumour malignancies with a special interest in colorectal cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, lung cancer, melanoma, and clinical research.
