Such a cute spot for a short walk - bring your dog! Very scenic routes and not too busy. Plenty of paths to choose from, a go-to after work.Full review by danikadistefano

Shack Island was a great thing to see and visit when tide is out! Great little picnic area! A must visit!Full review by Patti C
Does anyone know when in the tide phase you can ride the tide at Pipers Lagoon? Thanks! M

Yes, you can ride the in-coming tide at Piper's 's channel. It is an exhilarating experience akin to swimming down a horizontal waterfall. Be aware that you should be a strong swimmer or wear a life jacket. Be sure to go with others in case you have any problems. There are no lifeguards in attendance. To get to the channel, drive down Lagoon Drive off of Hammond Bay road until you reach the water. There are several parking spots, there. Do not go down Place Road to the park. Be sure to look at a tide chart to determine when there is a n coming tide. Have fun! But, be safe!
