The West Virginia Botanic Garden (WVBG) is the only botanic garden in the state, and it is open daily from dawn to dusk, free of charge. We have over 4-miles of trails, through both gardens and preserve areas. Maps and other information are available at the kiosk by the lower parking lot. The WVBG offers an extensive program of walks and workshops. Leashed pets are welcome. Bicycles, hunting, fishing, camping, overnight parking, alcohol, horses, fires, vehicles, and removal of plants or animals are not allowed. Visit wvbg.org for more information.

You can access the upper parking lot at any time and hike down into the garden areas. The lower parking lot is usually open for weekends during the day. Check the WV Botanic Garden web site for the many special activities that they have scheduled. There are demonstrations, guided walks, special activities.
