Hi - I would suggest that if you intend visiting a few museums that you get the Istanbul Museum Card. It's cheaper and available at the museums included in the scheme. The mosaic museum is pretty quiet and you could get it there without much of a queue. It is of course available to buy at the archaeological museum but there will probably be a much longer queue.
