We're booked for mid-August. I know high water is during the Spring but we wanted warmer weather and water. My question is, will we still experience decent rafting? My 22-year old son and I are first-timers so we don't need crazy, but we do want fun. We've booked the GYOR and Sport Raft days.

Hi, The Ottawa River is Canada's most popular rafting and kayaking river for two reasons - it has big rapids and warm water all summer. While the rapids are bigger in May and June (up to class 5 on a scale of 1-6), they are class 4 in July and August which is plenty big. You won't be disappointed. Please call me at 613.646.2241 ext 230 if I can be of more assistance. Thank you. Joe
