The driver of the buggy and three juvenile passengers were flown to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment.

KSP said the adult driver of the buggy and the three juvenile passengers were taken to University of Louisville Hospital by helicopter. Two of the children were later released from the hospital. The driver and the third child are still in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

According to police, Brenda Aubrey, 55, was driving south when her car rear-ended the buggy. The buggy operator, 33-year-old Elise Girod, and three young children were all injured in the crash. KSP said they were airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital to be treated.
