U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials will gain access to personally identifiable information for all of the nation’s 79 million Medicaid enrollees.

The Trump Administration is giving ICE a new way to identify people living in the U.S. illegally by accessing the data of those enrolled in Medicaid.

According to the Associated Press, the data handed over to ICE includes the home addresses, birth dates and ethnicities of the enrollees. The agreement to turn over the personal data of millions was reportedly signed on Monday between the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Department of Homeland Security.
