Tennessee baseball lost a home SEC series for the first time in two years when it was swept in a Saturday doubleheader by Texas A&M on Saturday.

Tennessee (28-4, 9-3 SEC) enters its fifth week in SEC play during the 2025 baseball season. In the Vols' fourth SEC series, Texas A&M defeated Tennessee, 2-1, to claim a series win at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

Tennessee dropped back-to-back games in mid-March but this past weekend’s series-loss to Texas A&M was the first of the year for the Volunteers. The Aggies were no-hit in Friday’s series-opener before sweeping a Saturday doubleheader by a combined score of 26-9 in Southeastern Conference play.
