An injury to Penn State starting quarterback Drew Allar could have been a promising omen; instead, backup Beau Pribula gave UW fits.

Pribula, playing in relief of injured Drew Allar, led the Lions on two second-half touchdowns drives in a 28-13 victory at Camp Randall.

Penn State will be home next week for the biggest game of the season. Penn State hosts Ohio State next Saturday for a noon kickoff on Fox. The game will be a top-five showdown after the Buckeyes escaped an upset bid at home earlier in the day against Nebraska. It will be just the second top-five matchup between the two schools in series history.

The Lions, 28-13 winners over Wisconsin on Saturday night at Camp Randall, will take a 7-0 record into their showdown with 6-1 Ohio State next Saturday at Beaver Stadium.

Penn State got off to a slow start. The Nittany Lions led for portions of the first half, but ultimately went into halftime trailing 10-7. To add injury to insult, Drew Allar was sacked on the final drive of the second quarter and came up gimpy after getting his left knee twisted.

Penn State has been a third-quarter team this season and will need to be one again to hold off Wisconsin and remain unbeaten. The Badgers lead Penn State 10-7 at halftime at Camp Randall Stadium after putting the Nittany Lions under plenty of duress early.
