The stage is set for a potentially epic Elite Eight showdown as No. 1 seed Duke and No. 2 seed Alabama will face off Saturday with a spot in the Final Four on the line. Both teams reached 100 points in their Sweet 16 victories and are brimming with the high-end talent necessary to create a compelling March Madness showdown.
The biggest bracket buster so far was No. 9 seed Indiana's 76-68 win over No. 8 seed Utah in the first round, ending 1.2 million perfect brackets. No. 10 Oregon's 77-73 overtime win over No. 7 Vanderbilt in the first round took out an additional 633,227.
The upsets have been few and far between during the NCAA Tournament for men's basketball, which is why we roll into the Elite Eight with all four No. 1 seeds still playing, along with three No. 2s and one No. 3.
The 2025 Men’s March Madness tournament is taking place in several exciting cities, including Seattle, Lexington, Ky., Providence, R.I., and San Francisco. See below to find out the venues and host cities for each round.
