After a week when inflation fears revived, bond yields jumped and US presidential politics stewed, the biggest takeaway for risk-asset bulls may be how little any of it ended up bothering them.

The benchmark index closed the week 1% lower, ending a six-week winning streak. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 0.6% and also posted its first weekly loss after six straight gains. The Nasdaq composite rose 0.

Wall Street rose modestly in premarket trading but remained on track to log its first losing week since early September, with higher Treasury yields luring investors away from equities. Futures for the S&P 500 rose 0.
