The FBI collects data on internet crimes through its website, ice.gov, including information on government impersonation crimes, Hagan Said. The website covers all states and all types of scam.
If they look too good to be true, they probably are. 12News spoke with Connor Hagan who works for the FBI. He says older adults are usually the targets of these scams.
