Netflix has confirmed that Devil May Cry has been renewed for a second season! Thanks to Adi Shankar’s interview with IGN in September 2021, we know he always had plans for a multi-season arc. The likeliest scenario is Devil May Cry had a two-season order.

Netflix hasn't announced a premiere window for Devil May Cry Season 2, but two-to-three-year waits between seasons haven't been unusual for Netflix's original animated series. If Devil May Cry Season 2 follows a similar pattern, it may not arrive until 2027 or 2028.

Cry just hit Netflix on April 3 and it is already a certified success. Fans of the game are loving this anime adaptation of demon hunter Dante’s story.
