Federal agents interrupted a party at a "makeshift nightclub" in north Denver early Sunday morning and arrested almost 50 people of undetermined immigration status, a large number of whom are reportedly affiliated with the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang.

The Drug Enforcement Administration detained roughly 50 people in Adams County early Sunday morning at what the special agent in charge called an invitation-only Tren de Aragua party.

When they feel like there is pressure against them so they move to Denver, they move to Littleton; they move to wherever they feel like they can get away from where the pressure is," DEA Denver Special Agent in Charge Jonathan Pullen told FOX31's Kasia Kerridge.

According to the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Rocky Mountain Division, the operation happened at a makeshift nightclub in Adams County. Drugs, weapons, and cash were all seized from the raid and all suspects were taken away on a bus. In a series of social media posts, the DEA said Homeland Security and ATF agents were also a part of the raid.

The DEA said nearly 50 undocumented residents were arrested during a raid Sunday, and that some may have possible connections to Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

Along with the DEA, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security and ATF agents, as well as local law enforcement, took part in the raid.
