The mayor's office is touting a 63% reduction in firearm-related homicides and a 56% drop in homicides overall.

Not many details of the shooting were first reported. Denver police said the three people transported had unknown injuries. An officer told FOX31's Shaul Turner that the injuries were not serious, and no one was yet in custody.

Spring slop is heading to Colorado, bringing snow to the mountains and heavy rain to Denver.The first round of moisture will arrive Sunday night and slowly spread across the state on Monday. Rain and snow will spread south of I-70 through 11 AM and northward by 1 PM.

Pinpoint Weather Chief Meteorologist Dave Fraser is still predicting up to an inch of beneficial rain for metro Denver and the Front Range.

Denver is expected to see 1.34 inches of rain between noon Monday and 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to NWS forecasters.
