Boeing said it was ready to support Air India following the crash of a 787 Dreamliner on Thursday. It was the first loss of the widebody aircraft.
Only one passenger survived after an Air India plane that crashed carrying 242 people shortly after takeoff near Ahmedabad in western India on Thursday, Indian officials said, after local police said they feared there would likely be no survivors from the incident.
The accident happened just weeks after the company cut a deal with the U.S. government to avoid taking criminal responsibility for a pair of deadly crashes in 2018 and 2019.
