Israel’s spy agency Mossad was conducting operations inside Iran, including hunting for leadership targets in Tehran, a person familiar with the operations said Friday. The operations were reported earlier by Axios.

Amidst escalating tensions, Iran claims to have struck a Mossad training facility in Herzliya, with footage released showing a building ablaze. Israeli police confirmed missile strikes in Herzliya, but reported no injuries.

In the early hours of Tuesday, Iran launched a new barrage of ballistic missiles into Israeli territory, and among the targets hit was the Mossad compound in Herzliya, north of Tel Aviv.
