A mural honoring the late rapper King Von, aka Dayvon Daquan Bennett, in his Chicago neighborhood was recently defaced with red graffiti following the arrest of his associate, rapper Lil Durk.

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Durk has been charged in a murder-for-hire plot targeting rapper Quando Rondo over his alleged involvement in the killing of up-and-coming musician King Von in 2020 in Atlanta. The “All My Life” hitmaker, whose real name is Durk Derrick Banks, is currently being held at Broward County Jail in Florida without bond.

Rapper Lil Durk was arrested in south Florida on Thursday on a murder-for-hire charge. He is currently in the Broward County Jail on a US Marshals hold, according to jail records.
