Grammy-winning rapper Lil Durk has been charged in a murder-for-hire plot targeting rapper Quando Rondo over his alleged involvement in the killing of up-and-coming musician King Von in 2020 in Atlanta. The “All My Life” hitmaker, whose real name is Durk Derrick Banks, is currently being held at Broward County Jail in Florida without bond.

Five people in Chicago have been hit with federal charges in California alleging they were contracted to kill rapper Quando Rondo in Los Angeles due to his suspected involvement in the 2020 slaying of rival artist King Von.

Hours before his arrest, five men who allegedly have ties to Durk’s hip-hop group, Only the Family (OTF), were indicted on federal charges in Los Angeles involving the same plot to murder Rondo, whose real name is Tyquian Terrel Bowman.
