MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Students in the Memphis-Shelby County School District (MSCS) will have the day off Friday. MSCS announced that all schools would be closed and after-school activities canceled on Friday, January 10 due to snow. All district offices will also be closed.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning for Tennessee from 10 a.m. Friday to 7 a.m. on Saturday. They are reporting between 3-6'' of snow, with higher amounts possible. A list of the school districts in the area that said they would close on Friday, Jan. 10, is available below.
