Officials in Minnesota are seeking answers in the case of a University of Minnesota graduate student who’s being detained by U.S. immigration authorities for unknown reasons.

Local, state and national leaders are demanding answers from immigration enforcement after the detention of yet another university student.

Twin Cities graduate student has been detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to the school.According to a letter sent by the university to students, faculty and staff, the student was detained at an off-campus residence on Thursday.
