PHILADELPHIA — Saquon Barkley couldn’t have had a better first season with the Philadelphia Eagles. Barkley broke records and became the ninth player to ever to rush for 2,000 yards in a single season. He was named the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year. And of course, he propelled the Eagles on a Super Bowl run. It was all pretty memorable.

Saquon Barkley certainly had the best season for an Eagles running back in team history, rushing for 2,005 yards, and becoming just the ninth player in NFL history to surpass 2,000 yards. There was a certain backward hurdle that was all the rage, too.

Saquon Barkley had a fantastic first season with Philadelphia. The Eagles couldn't have asked for more out of Barkley. He racked up over 2,000 rushing yards in the regular season and became the first running back in NFL history to reach 2,500 rushing yards in a season including the playoffs.
