Local, state and federal agencies are investigating a cyberattack against the City of St. Paul that caused the city to shut down its information systems.

Gov. Tim Walz enlisted the aid of the Minnesota National Guard’s cybersecurity experts and St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter declared a state of local emergency on Tuesday following a days-long cyber attack on the city’s Internet-based computer networks.
