Former NFL agent Jeff Sperbeck has died. He was 62. Sperbeck suffered a serious injury after falling off a golf cart on Saturday. His friend, business partner, and former client John Elway was driving.

Elway’s longtime friend and business partner, 62-year-old Jeff Sperbeck, rolled and hit his head on the asphalt when he fell off the cart in the private California golf community, sources told TMZ reporters. Sperbeck was pronounced dead at 1:10 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
