I deeply regret President Donald Trump's decision to once again withdraw the United States of America from UNESCO – a decision that will take effect at the end of December 2026.
The countries in a joint statement condemned what they called the "drip feeding of aid" to Palestinians in Gaza and said it was "horrifying" that more than 800 civilians had been killed while seeking aid.
The foreign ministers of 25 Western nations have slammed Israel for “drip feeding” aid into the Gaza Strip, as the health ministry in the territory said that more than 1,000 people have been killed seeking humanitarian relief there since late May.
The United States has formally notified UNESCO of its decision to withdraw from the organization, citing a misalignment with U.S. national interests and foreign policy priorities. ..
