Some schools in the Washington, D.C. area, including the Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia regions, are still closed or have delayed their opening times as they continue to clean up after the early week winter storm.

The first school cancelations for Tuesday are coming in. Public schools in Montgomery, Fairfax, Fauquier and Culpeper counties and Falls Church will be closed for another day, school officials announced.
