The PGA Tour moved from last week's British Open in Northern Ireland to Minnesota for the annual 3M Open. It offered a $8.4 million purse, with $1.512 million to the winner.

Kurt Kitayama has his second PGA Tour victory. He won the 3M Open in Minnesota on Sunday, closing with a 65 for a total of 23-under 261 to beat Sam Stevens by one stroke.
