Chevrolet has unveiled its Blazer EV.R NASCAR prototype in advance of the upcoming Daytona 500 race. This prototype reflects Chevrolet's commitment to testing and integrating new technologies that may benefit both its racing initiatives and production vehicles.

Cheverolet has just unveiled a new electric prototype called the Blazer EV.R NASCAR. The prototype offers a peek at NASCAR's battery-powered future.

Like the Ford, and like NASCAR's unbranded prototype, the three-motor setup makes the Blazer EV.R all-wheel drive. Those motors draw from a 78-kWh liquid-cooled battery, which is stored inside a modified Next Gen chassis. The car's suspension is also taken from that car, another common feature with the other two demonstrators.
