Officers from the Anaheim Police Department killed a pursuit suspect accused of wounding someone at a local motel Wednesday night.

ANAHEIM — A possibly armed person suspected of an assault with a deadly weapon against a big rig led police on a pursuit Wednesday night on and off the Riverside (91) Freeway and onto surface streets in the Anaheim area.

A man was fatally shot by Anaheim police Wednesday night following a high-speed pursuit that ended with the suspect crashing on a bridge, authorities said.
