According to NBA insider Marc Stein, Davis reportedly "is in increasingly strong contention to make his return to the floor during the Mavericks' upcoming swing through the Eastern Conference.

Forget whether or not the Dallas Mavericks should bring Anthony Davis back this season. The 32-year-old star, acquired in the still-mind-boggling Luka Donćić trade, is making his return to the floor on Monday against the Brooklyn Nets, per multiple reports.

Irving returned to the Barclays Center for the first time this season and cheered his co-star on several times during the first half. The Mavericks star guard suffered a torn ACL on March 3 and leaned on Davis’ shoulder as he was escorted to the locker room.
