The Las Vegas Raiders were once a team that saw the post-season regularly in the NFL. From the 80's and the 90's, they were a team that, on any given year, was a lock to make the playoffs.

The Athletics on Thursday announced they hired Marc Badain as their new team president, bringing along his experience in leading the effort to relocate the NFL’s Raiders from Oakland to Las Vegas.

"Some really important aspects of the team have to come together, but they're going to have to compete their butt off to make this thing move forward," Carroll said, via the Raiders' official website.
