A Spanish disability rights group has vowed legal action over the reported hiring of people with dwarfism as entertainment at Barcelona soccer star Lamine Yamal's recent 18th birthday party, condemning the practice as discriminatory.

Lamine Yamal 's 18th birthday celebration is at the center of a controversy over the alleged hiring of people with dwarfism, with Spain 's Association for People with Achondroplasia and Other Skeletal Dysplasias (ADEE) saying in a statement that "legal and social actions" will be taken in response.

Yamal celebrated turning 18 at a private party at a residence in Olivella, a small town 50 kilometres north west of Barcelona.
