UNC Asheville Athletics released five new logos June 3, including a new-look bulldog and a fresh lettermark, announcing a refreshed logo and brand for the school's athletic programs.

The new bulldog logo is modeled on The Citadel's live mascot, General III, and wears that full-dress collar (he does not have a name, by the way).

Interestingly, the inspiration for the Mack Trucks' iconic bulldog hood ornament and logo actually predates the Mack Trucks name by several years.
