As the U.S. marks the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill, it might take a moment — or more — to remember why.
One of the turning points during the Revolutionary War was the Battle of Bunker Hill 250 years ago. A commemoration of the event takes place in the lead-up to America's 250th birthday next year.
Amanda Zettel, cofounder of Bunker Hill 250 and president of the Charlestown Preservation Society, said a smaller battle reenactment may happen earlier in June near Bunker Hill Community College.
