The shooting of the Netflix series did not take place in Ransom Canyon, or even in Texas, although it seemed that due to the setting in that state, the crew would be shooting there. Locations from the Netflix series can be found in New Mexico, more specifically in Las Vegas, Santa Fe, New Mexico and Albuquerque.
