Mario White never imagined he’d step into the role of head football coach again. That changed, though, when Carver-Montgomery came calling. White was officially introduced as the Wolverines' 18th head coach in program history on Tuesday night.

Holmes stepped in last October to lead the Yellowjackets as interim head coach. Under his leadership over the final four games of the season, Carver went 2-2, picking up wins over Pine Lake Prep and rival Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy. The Yellowjackets finished the season 4-7, and finished sixth in their conference.

Carver has officially selected Mario White as the new head coach of the football program.
