By BRIAN FANNEY The Frederick News-Post. FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Gail Slezak, chancel choir director at the Church of the Brethren, is retiring after more than 42 years of service to the church.

The gospel singing group will now be called the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints said in a statement.
