Damian Lillard is heading back to Portland. Over two weeks after it was reported Lillard would be released by the Milwaukee Bucks, he is signing with the Trail Blazers on a three-year, $42 million deal, Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix reported on Thursday.

On Thursday, The Oregonian first reported that Lillard had agreed to a three-year, $42 million deal with the Blazers. The nine-time All-Star returns to Portland, where he spent the first 11 seasons of his career, following a stint with the Milwaukee Bucks that ended with an Achilles injury and a contract buyout.
