David Schwimmer has admitted he couldn't listen to the Friends theme song for many years. During an appearance on the Making a Scene podcast on Tuesday, the actor- who played Ross Geller on the' 90 s sitcom- revealed that he couldn't bear to re-watch any episode of the popular series for a very long time.

In addition to Friends being one of the best sitcoms of all time, its theme song, “I’ll Be There for You” by The Rembrandts, was equally iconic. Even if you didn’t watch the show during its initial run, you likely still knew the theme song quite well (I certainly did).

David Schwimmer had strong feelings about the Friend s theme song. The actor, who played Ross Geller for 10 years on the hit NBC sitcom, told the Making A Scene podcast that he was over the show’s opening tune, “I’ll Be There for You,” by the time the series ended in 2004.
