New head coach Kellen Moore says he is “comfortable” with 34-year-old Derek Carr, but the team could save $50 million under the salary cap if it releases him before 2026.
Sanders will now make $10 million in 2025 and 2026 before a raise to $11 million kicks in, in 2027 and 2028. In 2029, the final year of the extension, he’ll earn $12 million, according to Buffzone’s Brian Howell.
