EA Sports won't place its beloved video game series in the transfer portal, announcing the return of "College Football 26" this summer.

Following the tremendous success of its predecessor, EA Sports confirms on social media that College Football 26 is officially happening.

The next installment of the college football video game series will happen after a successful return of the franchise.

College football fans were finally able to play the sport’s first video game in 11 years last summer. The game, EA Sports College Football 25, brought a ton of fanfare, finishing 2024 as the best-selling video game in the United States.

Last year brought the anticipated return of EA Sports College Football, formerly known as NCAA. After releasing to positive reviews and strong sales, don’t expect another multi-year gap between College Football games.
