A former Eminem studio engineer was charged Wednesday with stealing the Detroit rapper’s unreleased music and selling it online, federal prosecutors announced.

Audio engineer Joseph Strange, who previously worked for rapper Eminem, was charged with allegedly leaking more than two dozen of his songs.

Eminem's ex-employee is facing federal charges after allegedly leaking the rapper's music. On Wednesday, the Department of Justice issued a press release revealing that Joseph Strange had been charged with criminal copyright infringement and interstate transportation of stolen goods.
