Netflix released a first-look image at its limited series based on Jane Austen's novel, "Pride and Prejudice."

But Netflix isn't the only entertainment platform bidding on the popularity of Austen. The BBC has also announced that a Pride and Prejudice spin-off is in the works with a 10-part series that will focus on Mary Bennet, aptly named The Other Bennet Sister.

To mark the occasion, the streamer unveiled a first look at the upcoming series (above) and revealed the supporting cast members who will flesh out the world written for television by best-selling author Dolly Alderton and directed by Heartstopper and Doctor Who's Euros Lyn.
