Google is announcing a number of new features for Flutter, which hit its 3.0 milestone at last year's I/O and is now launching version 3.10.

Google released Flutter 3.7 with more Material You widgets and menus support, while also teasing the future of the app development framework.

Google may seem like an unlikely ally, but its efforts with Flutter 2 could bring thousands of app experiences to Windows 10 through the web.

While Flutter started out with a focus on mobile when it first launched two years ago, it spread its wings in recent years and with version 2, Flutter now supports web and desktop apps out of the box.
